30 Jun Michelle Forbes Deals with Ankle Injury on Set of Upcoming Blockbuster
Inside sources report that the set of The Hunger Games film series is chaotic, and that the long work days and perilous stunts have resulted in many injuries among the cast. For example, Michelle Forbes, the actress playing a character named Lieutenant Jackson in the final part of the series, recently sprained her ankle and hurt her knee due to the dangerous filming conditions. Forbes is currently seeing a specialist to help her recover from her lower leg problems.
Other actors have also had bad luck while shooting their action scenes. Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the series’ main character, incurred multiple ear injuries while filming diving scenes for the series’ next installment, Mockingjay – Part 1. Chris Hemsworth, who plays Lawrence’s foil, sustained a knee injury during production of last year’s Catching Fire, but tried his best to continue working in spite of the pain.
